Design Wall Monday, July 26

I took some time this weekend to catch up on the block of the month that Amy is hosting. That makes 12 now, though Kurt swears that there is no way they should all go into the same quilt. He says that in one sentence while telling me in the next that we don't need 2 Christmas quilts. Sigh, I guess I shouldn't ask his opinion if I don't want it. Go over to Judy's blog to see what everyone else is up to for Design Wall Monday. We have one last summer camp this week along with an eye doctor appointment.

Must be BOM catch up week. :-) You can never have too many Christmas quilts Kurt! Ernie always wants to know who this one is for...it's for the pile-the for when I need a quilt pile. I love your colors, can't wait to see how you finish it. Have fun at camp.

Won't Kurt be surprised when, after you add sashing and borders and show him how they all CAN play together nicely in one quilt ;-)

(Or you could always put some on the front and some on the back ... and you'd still only have one Christmas quilt.

The blocks are great. Have fun deciding how to use them in a quilt.

I like variety. I change the quilt on my bed every month and at Christmas, I like to cover everything in a Christmas quilt. Right now I don't have enough for every surface so I better get going.

I think they're going to look great together; mind you, with so many blocks each month that Amy's putting together it's going to be big enough to cover Santa's bed and those of all the elves!

I think it's going to be a great quilt. When I opened your post and saw the colors, my face lit up. I love Christmas. And, yes we all need 2 or 10 Christmas quilts. If it makes you happy.

Great blocks. I love the colors you choose for Christmas. It's the traditional look but some of the greens add an updated sparkle.
