Scraphappy Saturday January 15

I am amazed at the creativity and productivity of the participants in the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Please post a link to your scraphappy Saturday creations so others can stop by and see what you have been making. I know some of you are running out of blue scraps already. Congratulations! There are still two more Saturdays in January, I hope that will give everyone time to tie up the loose ends.

What a fun thing to do! I am no expert quilter by any means, but I love it! In my quilting class, I learned about string quilting and it's so much fun and so pretty. I'm just going along with you on this for my own fun and hope to sew them all together at the end of the year as you mentioned. Love the colors of the year! Thank you! ...and your quilting is beautiful!

This is so cool...I never knew how many scraps I had...I´m still not out of blue and found a lot of blue hexagons and baby blocks :-))

Thanks, I thought I had no blue, I like this to work alone on a Saturday and Sunday with this project.

Today's efforts included some blue strippy heart blocks and then, some churn dashes made with the leftovers.

Joining the challenge encouraged me to sew blue scraps and seeing how many I had I decided to make a quilt - which meant that when there was a need for one to auction I had one almost ready. Yay! I have done loads of other blue sewing! and sadly still plenty of blue scraps. Nevermind, tomorrow we start making qults for Queensland flood victims so there might be more than one blue scrap quilt headed that way.

Posted my Scraphappy Sunday blog post! Saturday is next to impossible for me to accomplish anything but Sunday works so that is what I'm sticking to. Loving the challenge so far! Can't wait to see what I end up with as I get more monochrome blocks finished and put them together.
