Tiny Tuesday - Dogwood

This one is called Dogwood.  I'm really not sure why.  It is Midget block number 73.  The wedge sections were paper pieced and then appliqued down.  Those sections were paired with four patches, and viola, another Midget block is done.
I am starting to get to the point of thinking about how many I should make.  For now, I will just keep adding them to the wall one at a time.

I have never seen anything like that before. First I thought of teeth, then sunrise/sunset.

That is a really cute midget block! The reds just pop out at you :*) I love the design too - very unusual.

Your fabric choice is perfect for this block. You must have your design wall full by now.

I'm with Melinda; great fabric choices! Looking at the picture for too long makes my eyes go a bit "goo-goo."
