Mini Monday - Parcheesi

This one was a bit tricky to figure out.  It is Dear Jane F5I started by sewing the white squares onto a green plus sign,  That was prepared for applique.  Then I made a green square with a white circle behind it and reverse appliquéd those together.  The green plus with the white squares were then appliquéd onto the top of that.  Simple right?

I absolutely do not have the guts to attempt a Dear Jane quilt. I'm in awe of anyone who would even attempt it.

The title reminds me of summers growing up playing Parcheesi! Lovely block.... sounds very confusing on how you got there though.
