Nothing Matters but the Weekend

I can't remember the last time I was so happy to see a weekend!  After the marathon of study sessions that was last weekend I am due for a little down time.  Things really are starting to wind down.  My little guys at school have already taken the end of course exam mandated by the state for graduation.  The bigger kids have just one week until the advanced placement exam that will determine whether or not they get college credit for my course.  No pressure though.  AP exams in general start on Monday with Chemistry, Psychology and Environmental Science.  Kids will be in and out for the next two weeks depending on which courses they are taking.  There is not much more to be done about all of that though, which means I will try to enjoy a little blue scrap time before starting the clean-up process for company coming up.  I am afraid I will be losing my sewing room for a while.  Not sure if I can set up in the dining room on a temporary basis or just find some handwork to keep me busy. Today though, will be all about the blue. First up is sorting, by then, inspiration will have taken over. I've already started to see blue popping up all over, so use the linky below to share your beginnings of the blue month.

You have been busy!
Hope you can find a temporary sewing space. Don't want you to miss out playing with blue scraps.

I'd be feeling blue if I had to give up my sewing room! Been there, done that many times with kids leaving home, coming back, leaving home, coming back....

Hope you find a time and place to sew up some blue scraps.

Still sorting scraps, but happy to see our skies here turn blue just in time for May's RSC13 Blues. Hugs, Julierose

So glad things are beginning to settle down school-wise! I know from experience how much having company can disrupt your sewing. I have to just let it go until they're gone usually. Handwork is a great option! Lookign forward to playing in the blues today :*D

This is my first time trying to link up, so I'm not sure if it will work, but I had fun playing with bright blue today. I'm part of a group blog with 4 other quilters in my family, so the comments aren't open to the public, but you can email me at nswank@indiana.edu

It's amazing how fast the end of the school year is approaching. DT has already finished her geometry final and will have the rest of her finals next week, as well as enroll for her Freshman year.
