Brand New Month

I knew it was a new month today, but I forgot to drop subtle hints about the new rainbow scrap challenge color.  Silly me.  I was out of town last month and took a guess when I announced that the color was teal.  Turns out that teal was supposed to be this month.  Last month was supposed to have been RED for patriotic 4th of July festivities.  So now, THIS month is going to be red.  Instead of a patriotic red though, it is going to be a little red school house red.

Sorry, not sure what you mean by little red school house red. Is that "crayon box" bright red or darker "brick" red? Thanks for your patience!

Yippee for red... now I can figure out how to "ration" out my remaining background fabric!

Was hoping August would be red. I've already pulled my box of red scraps!

Yay! Glad it's red. Now there's a colour I have plenty of. Cute little school house by the way!

Hehe. I had cut red and maroon peels out last month! That leaves me lots to play with this month while I am home. Yeah. We did Aidan's classroom shopping last night. As a Mom... I'm happy school starts soon.

Yay! I've had my red scraps all picked out for a couple months now because I started doing a Talking Turkey in reds. I pulled out some special ones to be kept for RSC :*)

Red is such an energizing color to sew with. Now I just need to find time to get back to my scrap challenge blocks!
