ScrapHappy Saturday

It is spring break!  Bring on the sunshine.  It hasn't quite sunk in yet, but I am planning at some point to sew a little bit.  Hope you enjoying your yellow.  Mine are all a bit in flux, but hopefully a bit of home time will cure all that.  Our spring break send off had State Mathcounts, school play, Lacrosse and Orlando Science Challenge all happening simultaneously.  We are almost through all of that though and ready to enjoy a bit of calm.
I hope to post the alternate blocks directions for the yellow in the Sawtooth Sampler quilt.  But for those cleaning up, it looks like you will need 18-  2.5 inch squares.  6 of them will be sewn into four patches.  I'll sew mine up after I get back from Orlando tonight.

Yeah! March Break. The kids in my neighbourhood will be heading back to classes on Monday - just coming off March Break. Hope you have lots of time to play with the yellow scraps next week.

It sounds like a busy break for you, just about as busy as term-time! I hope you find time for your NYB blocks, and the opportunity to recharge your own energy level.

I love your sun points. They are such a nice reminder that the sun is on it's way. Thanks for making yellow the march colour. It helps us to get through the tale end of winter.

No sewing this week. Hallway duty and a slight fever (why?) made for a sleepy girl this week. Love checking out everybody else's yellows!

Angela I have to say, I love your scrap challenge. I visit everyone's blog and love seeing what they make. For some reason you attract bloggers that are so like me, I feel at home. Thanks! LeeAnna at not afraid of color

Life is in fast forward at my place! I haven't sewn a bit of yellow and it is the 22nd? WHAT! Top priority as soon as I get a minute to sew is RSC. Can't wait to be linking up!

Thanks so much for the yellow, my favorite color. I did more with it than I thought I would and am happy. I look forward to seeing what next month's color will be.
