ScrapHappy Saturday - Aquamarine Seas

Welcome to the soothing seas of the Caribbean.  June will be all about blues with a tinge of green.  In recognition of the new month, Vicki has sent this hand dyed fabric gradient called Bay of Campeche for one lucky Rainbow Scrap Challenge participant.  To enter the random drawing, just leave a comment on this post.  Misterlinky is below, share your progress and plans with teal blue.

Beautiful! I find aquamarine can sometimes be a challenge to use so I'm excited about using up some of my scraps this month!

I should have a few fun aquamarine fabrics to make a couple of vintage dresses from.

This weekend I hope to catch up on May's green blocks that I never got around to ( piecing ) though I have started on applique ( peels ) in this shade :)

I'm so happy that blue is the color this month! I need to catch up on one of my QAs (Quilt Doodle Designs BOM 2016). I'm making an all blue (white) Christmas quilt. Thanks for the chance to win.

Always exciting to begin a new month of color. I'm still keeping up with my 4 main projects. I'd say they are half completed now. Nothing to share today, but I'll be following everyone else's progress.

I didn't have any aqua in my stash. A quilter showed a gorgeous quilt on her blog with aqua sashing and I was in love. Since then, I do have aqua in my stash and I am all set to play with some this month. Thanks Angela. ;^)

These colors remind me of my visit to my son on the island of Koh Samaui in Thailand.

Temperatures are climbing so it will be lovely to work with the cool watery colours of the Caribbean.

that whole range of aquamarine is so cool and refreshing to look at. It would play nicely in any quilt! Thanks for the donation Vicki and Angela.

You have chosen one of my favorite colors this month! I have been wanting to make a teal/turquoise with lime green quilt for awhile--maybe now is the time.
