Waiting on the Storm

We are prepared and waiting for the storm to arrive.  Fortunately, we live far enough from the ocean that we are not in an evacuation zone, and so we have decided to settle in and wait it out.  So far so good!  It should be arriving in the wee hours of the morning, so until then I will enjoy having power and lights and air conditioning.  After tomorrow.... hard to say.
I will go ahead and schedule the linky party, just in case.  Because honestly, you just never know.  Hard to imagine, looking out the windows right now, that 145 mile an hour winds could be here this time tomorrow.

stay safe, we just had friends from palm beach county visit us, on their way home, they were supposed to stay here a few days but left within a few hours to go home and what normally takes 12hrs+ took almost 24hrs! getting supplies and gas wherever they could, they are home now and waiting out the storm.

Hope you and your family are safe and comfortable and the storm brings no major damage to you.

Hope you stay safe. Those of us living in tornado zones have a difficult time even imagining that type of wind going on for hours and hours.

We have friends in Vero Beach and relatives in Jacksonville. They are in our thoughts and prayers. Now I'll add you to them!

Will pray for your safety and all people in Matthew's path. Hopefully, people will heed evacuation orders on the east coast. This storm is brutal.

Came by to check on you; wondering if you had to evacuate or not. Thoughts and prayers with you and all of Florida and up the coast.

Sending vibes for wind shear and storm disintegration! I have family and friends all over Florida, so I'm waiting and watching, too. Hope everything goes well for you, and the power isn't out for too long!

Keep safe. Batten down the hatches so to speak. Weather network film clips show a vicious storm. Hope there isn't too much damage done by the time it comes your way.

Hope you escape the worst of the hurricane, it sounds a nasty one!

You and your family have been on my mind all day. I hope you have enough food and water stored for several days. It looks like Florida is in for a rough one this time. Let us know how it goes later this weekend if you still have power. Be safe, my dear.
