Piece of string, twine or ribbon for handle, about 2.5 feet long 
Take the large sheet of newspaper and fold it on the crease, just as it comes so that you have two layers of paper.

It has been a busy week, and I was SO looking forward to having a weekend to FINALLY get back into the sewing room again.  Right before the holiday break is always a super busy time at school.  Our semester ends and that means midterms are in full swing while grades are being finalized.  My own kids are booked solid with parties and field trips and of course concerts and plays.

Miss Sheila asked me to quilt another small throw for her.  I am her "go to girl" for quilting projects these days.  She made a disappearing nine patch top to go with a blue fleece blanket for the backing.  She intends to turn the edges over for a self binding edge.  It didn't take long at all to quilt up and now I can cross another project off the list.   This one still needs one more border for size.  I think I've got enough of the dark green and then I'll use the yellow again for binding.  I think yellow thread for quilting would be good, I think it would looks good with a pantograph.

Most of them have been made along the way during the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  Now I just have to decide how to put them together.  
  Option 1 is a simple grid.

Things have been busy as usual these days, but it didn't take long to put together Midget Block number 50 which is called Autograph.  
It was a fairly simple block; paper pieced in 4 sections with 21 pieces.
