RSC 2020

Welcome to the Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2020.  I've been at this for a while now and still don't seem to be out of scraps.  I hope you will join in and try to put some of your own scraps to good use.  I was playing with my scraps one day, many years ago and feeling a little overwhelmed.  It occurred to me that it might be fun to tackle one color each month and try to get them all under control.
Each month I will announce a color.  Your job is to use your scraps to make something.  A block, a few blocks, a small project, an entire quilt.  The details are all us to you.  Hopefully, by the end of the year, you will have enough blocks for a quilt, or a finished project or two.
I'm not doing a sampler quilt this year, and hope to play a little catch up instead.

Each Saturday, I host a linky party so that you can link to your own blog post, or Instagram or whatever.  Just write a post about your scrappy progress and share it with us all.  Then you can take some time to visit other peoples posts and be inspired by their scrappy creativity.

10 Colors for 2020 (in rainbow order) will be: red, orange, yellow, light and bright green, dark and sage green, teal or aqua blue, light and bright blue, dark or other blue, purple and pink. I'll come back near the first of each month to let you know what color is the lucky winner to get your attention for a while.
November and December will be not have official colors announced, but you may focus on dark or light neutrals if that works for your quilts, or begin the process of finishing or catching up if you have the need.

January - light and bright green
February
March
April
May
June
July
August

November - light neutrals or multi color

  17. My number one participation in RSC is to straighten out the shelf of that color. Red is done. It looks great and it get to reintroduce myself to my fabric (always a fun thing)! Now on to using some scraps. Liz in Houston
