Last Green Saturday

Last weekend I pulled out my little bin of 1 inch strips and just started to sew.  It was entirely relaxing.  These are the green blocks that came out of Memorial Day Weekend.  The blue month doesn't officially start for a few more days, so I'm going to finish off a few odds and ends in green before putting them away.  Sydney has an all day Lacrosse tournament in Orlando, which Kurt has kindly volunteered to take her to.  That will leave me home with my scraps.  I can't wait.  There is just one more day of school to finish off with one day of post planning and then one day of meetings.  After that I will officially be switching into summer vacation mode.  Can't wait!
What are your plans for the weekend?  Use misterlinky below to share your rainbow scrap progress.

Hopefully I can do a little green sewing tonight for the last sampler and cutting some alternate block squares. Enjoy your day of sewing.

Good morning, Angela, you've got another big beautiful pile of blocks from Memorial Day weekend. Finished my green ribbon for the month and will be working on LAST year's RSC blocks this weekend!

Hello Angela. Saturday is over for us, and for me it was rather hectic running around doing errands. Tomorrow my middle grand daughter is coming over for some quality grandma time and to have her school uniform shortened. Hopefully I'll get a bit of sewing time too.

My plans for the weekend are to spend some more time looking round the West of Ireland. I only got a little hand sewing done last week, and my forecast for the coming week is no different! Enjoy your summer break; ours doesn't start for nearly two months!

I'm going to be trying to find some light blues. Not sure how successful I will be though. Hmmm might have to purchase some!!

I finally made the green block for May! (My excuse is that I didn't move back into my studio until last week.) Thanks for the early news about the June color. I will turn to my turquoise/light blues. BTW, as I was reshelving the contents of my studio I came across some patterns/design ideas that would lend themselves to RSC-style quilt designs. As if I didn't have enough inspiration for three lifetimes....

I don't believe May is finished and we are moving on to the next colour. I only just got my green block completed in time.

Hopefully you had a good day of scrappiness. It was yard work here.

My plans for the weekend were to baste my H block quilt (story in my link post) and catch up on some reading - not achieved that as yet! Looking out colours for June also on the list, we have a long weekend here in New Zealand so I have another day to catch up!
