Red

What a time to be working on red.  I picked the colors all in December, not knowing what 2020 was planning on throwing at us.  Just when you think that life can't turn into more of a terrible future dystopian novel.  All the more reason to stay in and sew?  We have some tropical system that might turn into Sally or Teddy sitting off of the coast, so I think that it might be a rainy day.  Again, a good reason to stay in and sew.  Anna is coming home though, so I'l probably be spending some time with her instead.  I hope you are finding some time to play with your scraps though.  I hear it is good for your mental health.

Hoping those systems stay clear of your coast, Angela! Enjoy your weekend with Anna and sneak in a few quilting stitches, if you are able.

Hope you are able to get a little sewing time in with the visiting Anna home for the weekend. Looks like the storms are queueing up out in the Atlantic. I hope school has settled down a bit for you.

It’s definitely a hard time! I’m finding it difficult to stay focuse! I want to go do something! Keeping my fingers crossed that the storms bypass you. And the fires in the west calm and “lay down” I have a daughter and grandchildren in Florida and a son in Northern California! I am a worried mama!
Happy weekend with your daughter!

So glad you get to see Anna this weekend. Hope the storm just brings you rain, and maybe a little sewing time for mental health purposes! :)

Enjoy Anna's visit. Quilting is therapeutic but so is mother-daughter time!

If you do get some rain, please pass it along to Houston! Add a pic for the red scraps because my recent finish used some red scraps as the inserts. Loving the RSC projects from everyone! Liz in Houston

Had to check that word you used, it's a great one for these troubled times. What with the pandemic, storms, fires and riots, you must be wondering what else is in store.
Do hope you are managing your school duties safely, and enjoy spending time with your daughter. You are so right stitching is great for our mental health, just to sit and relax, concentrate on what we love doing, and forget about the world for a while.
Many thanks for setting up the linky each week, regardless what is happening in in your life, I really appreciate the time and effort you put into R SC

If 2020 were a hula hoop, it would be made of barbed wire...
Stay safe and sane!
