I did bit of hand sewing on hexies. The green row is definitely too short. After that I will decide if the blue is too long or the purple is too short. I used the Cricut at school to cut out a few more shapes for EPP. and did a bit of cutting and prepping. I was thinking about tiny plus blocks as a leader and ender this year. They use 1.5 inch strips. I am not a roll finishing things up right now, but that always gives me the urge to start new projects. The end is near for this year, hopefully you are feeling ready to start putting some blocks together!
Kurt was gone all week to Colorado, I picked him up at the airport yesterday. Sydney is home for the weekend for early voting, but she is off to Halloween Horror nights at Universal later today. I think Ryan is headed back to Gainesville a Halloween party. That just leaves Kurt and I. am sure he will be working on the kitchen remodel that is underway. When he doesn't need me to help with that, I think I will sew a few more hexies together and stream a bit of Netflix before our account expires on Tuesday. We are working to limit our streaming services and I didn't want to add anything new until we got rid of something old.

Those hexie blocks make a great design! I think you must have had a lot of hand sewing time during blue month! Have a wonderful weekend, Angela!
ReplyDeleteThe hexie project is moving along, slowly, but moving. Sometime starting something new is the motivation to finish something old.
ReplyDeleteIt is too easy to start planning new things haha!! I like your rows... Glad you spent some time prepping. I am sure I saw Kurt in CO ( haha - just kidding!) Hope he got the pretty weather part rather than the flooding part
ReplyDeleteCute tiny plus blocks! I want to thank you again for hosting the RSC every year. It is such fun all year long, and even more when we put the blocks together. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI need to get caught up on my RSC quilt for this year - once again it has gotten put aside while I try to get caught up on my BOM -- I do want to finish my Flowering Snowball blocks this year!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week! I'm also tempted to start new projects instead of working on the ones that I need to finish up. Stay strong, LOL.
ReplyDeleteCutting EPP shapes on the school Cricut is a lovely way to prepare for more hand sewing. The tiny plus blocks sound like a cheerful next project for those 1.5-inch strips!
