When we got new carpet, we decided not to carpet the stairs. We pulled it all off in preparation for hardwoods. And so it sat, just like this, waiting for Kurt to return from all of his travels.
Today was a off for him, and he finally had a chance to get started. I spent the afternoon painting the trim work and touching up the wall paint which was all full of tiny little hand prints. Now the house smells like fresh paint and cleaning stuff. Not a bad smell at all. Then this evening he got out the nail gun and adhesive and attached everything together. 6 stairs down, just 20 more to go.

You will love your stairs! They actually look alot like the ones my Dad gave me for Christmas 2 years ago. I hated carpet! The only thing is all the dust bunnies. LOL!
