  8. I knew that boxed in block would look good in blacks and batiks! I still think it will also look good in red and white, so I might well try it that way, too...

  9. Although I DID play with scraps today, I can't share yet because I was working on sample blocks and directions for the Feburary block lotto. Last night (and this morning), I started a stash=busting class. I decided to FINALLY cut some feedsacks I've collected. I think they are going to make a great scrap quilt.

  13. Yesterday was super fun, going by cutting and linking the various parts in blue ... and then more racing .... this is my first quilt and I like how the process, progress ... Thank you ...

  14. I posted my blue block :) I tried out free motion quilting for the first time last night, it's kind of a crazy mess of thread squiggles but I had so much fun! Thanks for making this challenge :)
