A brand new month and a chance to play with a new color. I'm taking a quick break before jumping in to green for a pink quilt that mom requested. I'll be back to the color of the month soon enough. Until then, I know there is LOTS of green out there waiting to come out and play.
Oh, green is my really spring colour! I´ve made some things in green already this year. Recently a green scrappy wallhanging.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Green - the one colour I was dreading because I have so many scraps but I guess that is what comes from toting my scraps around for 20 years - dont do that!!! At least I will have less at the end of this month!
ReplyDeleteMy fabrics have been pulled since earlier this week, all ironed up, my pattern chose, and cut!!! Tonight I start sewing up a storm!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm allll over this month!!!
Quiltingly Yours

Okay...I WILL be strong here....
ReplyDeleteDespite having pulled all my green scraps earlier this week, they simply will SIT until I finish my Blue Ridge Beauty and Red Blossoms. The last thing I want is to have 2 more UFOs :0)
Therefore, I MAY not get a green quilt made; always keeping it open though. OR, depending on your next chosen color for April, perhaps those two colors will be made together???? ;0)
And I'm so saddened to hear about your Mother. The quilt will surely be appreciated and loved.
My green scraps are altogether in a basket and a block started.
ReplyDeleteGreen is not my favourite colour but I seem to have a lot of scraps in it.
Started working on green this week. It's my favorite color and for once I didn't have to purchase any material this time.
ReplyDeleteI'm really struggling with green at the moment, I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else is doing - hopefully I'll get some inspiration
ReplyDeleteHave gotten off to a good start with the greens. With several other items planned.
ReplyDeleteI waited until today to get organized. Now I'm all fired up for some super great greens.
ReplyDeleteI've got my first green finished. It's an Alzheimer's quilt. I have 2 more planned for March.
ReplyDeleteI've made a few blocks. I've got lots of green, but don't know where I'm headed.
ReplyDeleteI'm making progress on a green scrappy top I started last year -- hope to finish by St. Patrick's Day!
ReplyDeleteI have posted my first green project for the month. I am not too sure what I will be making the rest of the month but I hope to use up a lot of my green bits and pieces.
ReplyDeleteI finally managed to get my green scraps sorted today!
ReplyDeleteLots of green scraps to play with. Good luck with your pink quilt and busy schedule!
ReplyDeleteI was inspired to use a few green/pink orphan blocks from a swap and a cute top just made itself! Thanks for this Challenge ... it keeps my projects moving.
ReplyDeleteOh boy - green. Thats one color I have lots of.
ReplyDeleteI've been following all the gorgeous things being made thanks to your efforts in organization and your great idea and I was thinking. You should have a flicker group for people to post their creations in, maybe even a joint flicker group with Amy - since you are practically twins. It would be fun to be able to see everything in one place. Just a thought. I know you don't already have enough to do lol, but a flicker group should be pretty much self sustaining I would think.
ReplyDeleteFinally I've taken this one somewhere !
