It is the last Saturday in April and therefore the last Saturday of purple scraps. I'm just now home from another Saturday at school with practice AP tests. I'm hoping to get the sashing sewn onto the purple and green blocks and perhaps start sewing the blocks together.
Post your progress below and start thinking about and end of the month round up coming soon!

Does this mean that pink is the color for May? Good luck on your sashings.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a productive month. I think I may sit out for May so I can focus on recital costumes an a few personal projects.
ReplyDeletePurple was a pretty pathetic month for me -- all I managed was a couple of blocks. I don't have much in the way of pink scraps so maybe I'll make more progress in May!
ReplyDeleteI didn't get very much done with purple, time just got away with me some how in April. May be this month will be better :)
ReplyDeleteMy purple contribution left very much to be desired... as for pink, I can't see much better ...
ReplyDeleteI did not manage many purple things this month, althaugh purple is my favourite colour. I guess, pink is the colour of May, and then I think, I won´t manage many things in May, too. Because I think, I have no or maybe not many pink scraps. We will see.
ReplyDeleteOooh. I'm guessing pink for May! I have a question on where you got the ribbon pattern for you Mom's breast cancer quilt. I showed the link to our breast cancer charity quilt person and she loved the quilt. Could we buy or borrow your pattern for our charity quilts? Thanks so much for your help!
ReplyDeleteI made my purple mug rug earlier in the month and then a lavender top for a donation to Margaret's Hope Chest (they were collecting tops), so purple wasn't a bad month for me at all! I made a scrappy native bunny today ... but I'm really just passing time and looking forward to the color for MAY - wahoo!
ReplyDeleteI finally got my purple baby quilt finished today. I am looking forward to pink!
ReplyDeleteOne teacher to another- do you have more respect than ever for people who work five days a week all year? How do they do it with no snow days? My sewing time suffers because I must sit on the couch and stare straight ahead for awhile each evening.
ReplyDeleteJust linked my 50th post with Saturday's projects. Can't wait to start something pink!
