It is so easy to lose track of the days when out of town. I didn't realize it was Saturday until I checked e-mail to see people wondering where Mr. Linky was. OOPS! I don't have anything to show yet, but next week should be calm. I have lots of red white and blue running through my head. How about you? Any patriotic plans in the works?
I immediately thought of a scrappy red-blue-cream UFO ... but then couldn't find it. I improvised and will be working on a red and white and a blue and white project until it turns up.

ReplyDeleteI am out of town, and actually bought a few red, white & blue fat quarters yesturday. Which means I am thrilled with this color choice. I will add these to what I have existing once I return home and get started.
ReplyDeleteSince I have a bunch of those scrappy blue/white friendship stars left from January.... I'm thinking a bigger red/white star as an alternating block. We'll see how well I do getting those made this month.
ReplyDeleteNot a big fan of r/w/b, but have decided to have a go anyway - and was pleasantly surprised - throwing in lots of lots of different blues has given it a very different effect from the standard US patriotic look, I think...
