It is the last Saturday in September and I am liking the black background for crumb blocks. I whipped these little geese blocks up last weekend. Today I am going to try out some stars and hearts from the Crumb along tutorial on Tuesday. What scraphappiness are you up to today? Use the linky below to share your progress.
Those blocks are looking great! I hope to do some crumbs today too... I need a break from unpacking boxes.
ReplyDeleteLove crumb blocks and the black just makes them pop! I have finished more black placemats - bring on the next colour!!!!
ReplyDeleteI took some time to sew this week- black, orange, purple and white.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to find out October's color! What shall it be?
I love the look of your crumb blocks with the black. Is the next color orange??? Hugs
ReplyDeleteThe crumb blocks look great. I finally got some blocks done this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm really impressed by the use of black in your crumb blocks.
ReplyDeleteToday? I'm pulling strips and scraps from my bins today and auditioning them for a sampler quilt-along. (Oh no! Not another new project!) I think your beautiful use of black is influencing me in my selection.
I love the black background or the black mixed in with the bright colors. Love the Amish quilts. Can't wait to hear the color for October!
ReplyDeleteSorry that I've been MIA with black. HOWEVER, I MIGHT have something brewing to use up some black; no scraps though. It's not a "color" I use often, so very few scraps.
ReplyDeleteGreat crumb blocks! That looks like a fun Quilt Along!
