So Sad

Company is coming.
So instead of sewing,  I spent time turning my quilt studio....
Into a guest bedroom again.
I haven't picked the sewing machine up yet, so I can still sew a little bit, if it isn't too messy.  I guess crumb blocks aren't a good idea?

  2. I can sympathize with you. I also use a spare bedroom for my sewing room. I suppose the good thing about that is that the room gets a good cleaning more often than it would otherwise.

  4. That wall did look much happier with all of those colorful blocks up there. :/ Enjoy your company, though!

  6. I do the same to my dining room for the holidays. The long arm is at my Mom's studio so that part is always picked up. Then I go through sewing withdrawl's..... Looks great and your guests will be comfortable. :)

  8. OMG! I know what you mean though. I have been sewing/quilting at my kitchen table for about two weeks. My sewing room is upstairs and the Texas weather has been so hot. I just couldn't bump up the A/C anymore. Well, I could have but I couldn't afford to buy any fabric or anything else. I had company coming and had to clean up...It is cooling off and I'm glad to be back in my space but I'm now searching for stuff. Have fun with your company and do a little bit of sewing too!
