Today was a beach day. It has been rainy all week so it was nice to finally make it out. We have swapped children for the week with my sister in Georgia. She kept the girls and we brought Austin home with us. He and Ryan have been having a blast. So after we got back and all showered up, I started laying out the crumb blocks. I still need to cut some more alternate squares, but the general idea is starting to appear.
Looking good! I love the idea, just that there are soooooo many ideas, and so little time. I've got 3 active quilts going right now! I'd love to make a quilt like yours, but I already have a triangle one going... a UFO that I had to take down off the wall for another a while ago.
ReplyDeleteYours is so interesting!

I love the idea of an alternate block with the crumbs - we (in NZ) refer to these quilts as Mile-a-Minute! I've had a good read and love your blog - and very much admire your ability to work with miniatures!
ReplyDeleteLooking great! And I really like the idea of lighter squares in the center and darker triangles on the outside.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea - I bet the boys love it!
ReplyDeleteLooks great - I like that you have used a darker blue fabric on the outer edge. It really does frame it quite nicely. I will have to remember that for the next crumb quilt I make!
ReplyDeleteLooks great. Those crumb blocks are so versatil and the way you put them in the quilt makes them sparkle.
