We are getting a new class pet. There is a special surprise for the first person who guesses what it is.
Nobody has it yet, but a couple got VERY close. In fact, if I weren't a biology teacher I would probably call it good enough. It is not the same though. Any new guesses?
Turtle?
ReplyDeleteMouse. It's gotta be a mouse. EVERY great science lab has a mouse!

Turtle.
ReplyDeleteHamster
ReplyDeleteA Rat. We did two white rats as a science experiment in grade school - fed healthy food to one and junk food to the other. It was a fun couple of months!
ReplyDeleteA lot of people seem to like those spikey little creatures...hedgehogs I think they're called?
ReplyDeleteGuinea pig
ReplyDeleteFish!
ReplyDeletea snake? How about a hissing cockroach-my daughter loved that in her science class a few years back.
ReplyDeleterabbit!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say hedgehog but I see that is already suggested. My granddaughter wants one of those so desperately! What about a bird?
ReplyDeleteA gerbil?
ReplyDeletea lizard of some sort? Something reptilian is my guess!
ReplyDeleteSpider
ReplyDeleteA salamander?
ReplyDeletechinchilla?
ReplyDeleteA bearded dragon.
ReplyDeletea lizard
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess ferret since no one has said that. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am going to guess again - frogs?
ReplyDeleteOkay..the suspense is killing me. :)
How about an iguana?
ReplyDeleteOkay - just one more try - these 'tries' are like potato chips - you just can't have one!
ReplyDeleteHow about a gecko!
Sugar bears?
ReplyDeleteOne more try - tortoise?
ReplyDeleteA bird of some kind - we call them budgies (short for budgerigar) but I think you might call them parakeets.
