The pieced borders are finally on Smith Mountain Morning. I have plenty of fabric for a backing thanks to a summer clearance sale and Joann's It can't go on the frame quite yet as there is a Christmas Log Cabin quilt hanging out there. First though, Orca Bay is also waiting patiently for pieced borders. They are a pain in the neck, but they really do give the quilt a nice finish, don't they?
Cannot wait to have a pic like this on my blog. It looks GREAT!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt top. Great to see the top done. You go girl get that other boarder done and have two tops done.
ReplyDeleteThey really do make the quilt sparkle. Just love how this one came out. Get working on the next one and I'd say two tops done = the ability to start a new one!
ReplyDeleteI've not tried a pieced order but that does inspire me!
ReplyDeleteOH it looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYou did such a great job on this quilt...it's beautiful!
