ScrapHappy Saturday - Tickled Pink

It is the first scrappy Saturday of the new year and all your pink scraps can come out to play.  I got off to a great start by dumping out my pink jar and sorting it by type.  So far the strips have been dealt with handily and are now happily sorted into 1, 1.5 and 2 inch stacks.  I'm not so sure about the chunks yet, but one step at a time, right?  Look at the adorable little nine patches that I made from the 1 inch strips.
Mostly though, I've been working on Dear Jane blocks.  There are 13 pink blocks done so far.  Not a bad start given that there about 24 pink blocks on my list.
What pink projects do you have in mind for this month?  Use the linky below to share.

  1. I don't have any idea what I'm going to do in the challenge this year! Do you think Granny Square would work? Perhaps dark/light log cabins? I love the Scrappy Trip along which has spontaneously erupted, but I can't see how that could work with the rainbow challenge! Sigh!

  8. Look at all the gorgeous pink. I don't think I have even turned on the machine this year, yet. I will dump out my pinks maybe tonight and start digging through them to see what I turn up.

  11. I love your Dear Jane Rainbow blocks. I may still do that. I need to get my book back from a friend. Love the nine patches. I am back and getting started. I have a few to do from last year like spools but a long list on new ideas. We will see what really gets me going. Thanks You for doing the challenge again this year.

  12. Your Dear Jane blocks look great. You got a really good jump on that project. I'm waiting to finish up a project before I jump into this month's scrap project. I'm considering a 9 patch scrap project to go with the butterfly project this year. I'm waiting till I finish one project before I add any thing new to the design walls.
