It has been a very short purple month. I feel a bit behind after being out of town last weekend. I thought I was done with all of the violet blocks for Rainbow Scrap Challenge Dear Jane until I pulled them out to snap a photo and found one of the corners still in need of a bit of attention. The applique portion was done on the road trip last week but there hasn't been any machine momentum since then. I still need to do some trimming to size and add the sashing, but the purple Janes will definitely get done in February. Now to take care of those scraps! There are more now than there were when the month started:(

Clearing off the table to do all those bindings I did this month, put a damper on me getting the purple blocks done. I will get caught up though. It is suppose to still downpour all day long today again. So maybe I will get some more sewing done. Plus I still have 5 more days next week.

Purple has been a great time. Hope to finish my purple mile a minute top today with borders and MAYBE get it ready for machine quilting. This is going to charity to make some little girl smile!

ReplyDeleteI made a purple block and I caught up with a pink block, since this was the first month I've participated. I wish I had managed to work up my purple scrap bin, but too many other things in the way. lol
