I almost completely forgot that today is a new month! I love new months because they bring new colors. Before you dig into your blue, please do me a favor. Blue is usually everyones biggest pile of scraps. It is really too much to deal with in a single month. So take your blue and divide it into 3 stacks. Yes 3. One for bright blue, one for pastel and the other for teal or greenish hued shades. Hopefully the piles will all be a little smaller now and more doable in a single month. Start with the brights first. This will be a sapphire blue month. Enjoy!
Great idea--I'm off to sort my blues--(no "Blues in the Night", no "Blue Moons", no "Blue Bayou" LOL) just bright blues....Julierose
ReplyDeleteOh yay!!! My FAVORITE color of all - sapphire blue!!!! Love separating them out too :*)
ReplyDeleteGoodie lots of blues, but have I got enough of each shade - we will see!
ReplyDeleteLove blue, off to go check for brights!
ReplyDeleteBlue Bonnet Blue for my next set of Sprouts! Thank you
ReplyDeleteBlue, blue, so happy it's you! Hmmmm will have to tug the bin of scraps out and sort....... maybe I can make a game of it and have the kids try it again.
ReplyDeleteI have loads of blue to do! Especially on my spools..I better get going on that asap!
ReplyDeleteBlue. Hmmm I guess I'm the odd ball as I don't have too much blue. I will Scrap-Dive and see what I can find. May 1st. Wow.
ReplyDeleteBoy, you've got that right!
ReplyDeleteI might try to finish last month's green and blue scraps quilt as my bright blues are sorely lacking.
ReplyDeleteI would have divided the green-blues from the others anyway but I'd not thought of separating the pastels!
ReplyDeleteDo I have to (said in a whiny voice like a child!! LOL)
I have to wait till I finish teacher gifts before I can play with scraps. Hopefully I'll get to that before the end of the month.
