I was playing with layout ideas for the postage stamp blocks. I was thinking of something a little bit asymmetrical with a "V" kind of vibe. I'll let it simmer a bit I think.
Speaking of simmer, there is a pot of chili in the crockpot for dinner.

And we used the last of the peaches to make a cobbler using this recipe. I must admit that I tried a little bit when it came out of the oven and it is delicious.
Dinner looks good and that cobbler looks GREAT! Yummo!
ReplyDeleteI really like the asymmetrical look and have used it a lot with different quilts. Most of my quilts go to kids and I'm sure "straight set" is ho hum to them.
ReplyDeleteLooks yummy! Just need a side of corn bread for the chili. Nice layout for our quilt. Think it over with a big bowl of cobbler with some ice cream =)
ReplyDeleteMy go-to peach cobbler recipe is very similar. If only we could get Georgia peaches here...sigh. I used to get the juciest, yummiest Georgia peaches when I lived in Pensacola.
ReplyDeleteMy husband love peach cobbler, he will be right over....
ReplyDeleteI really like that lay out! Your chili looks yummy! So does the peach cobbler!
ReplyDeleteGreat lay out for the postage stamp blocks. Looking forward to seeing that one come together.
