Boy this month has really gone quickly! Love your churn dash nine patch quilt! I love the idea of doing little nine patches. The one quilt I have always wanted to make is a winding ways.

ReplyDeleteMy long term project on the "to do" list has been a Quilt of Crosses. Keeps sliding down the list as I find more and more interesting things in which to become involved. Blame that Pinterest!!

ReplyDeleteThose little nine patches and churn dash blocks in a rainbow of colours will make such a lively quilt. It just sings.
ReplyDeleteAt some point in time I would like to make a hand appliqued quilt and quilt it by hand. I'm not sure what the pattern will be just yet. There are so many choices.
I would love to make a wedding ring quilt. hopefully before my daughter gets married!

I've sat out all month. Not alot of orange scraps and certainly not much variety. I made a very simple block for my growing row quilt and finished off too many hours making these pumpkin greeting cards. This is my favourite monthly challenge and the only one I can stay with joyfully!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to leave words for my 'someday' quilt. It would be a beautiful log cabin with lots of applique in the light areas and borders.

ReplyDeleteLate to post today - neighbor had a new fence installed and the contractor cut the cable line. 24 hours later, we all now have temporary above-ground lines strung until the other guys can come dig a big hole next week.
