ScrapHappy Saturday - From Cafe to Lime

Hopefully you have made a dent in the brown scraps and are feeling ready to move on to a new color.
November will a month of bright and happy Lime to finish off the rainbow scrap colors of the month for the year.  That will leave plenty of time for finishing things off in December.  So to celebrate a new color and a new month, lets start the last fabric giveaway of the year.  To enter the drawing, just leave a comment on this post with your favorite color from this year.  I'll choose randomly to figure out who will win this package of  hand dyed fabric from Vicki Welsh.  Vicki and I are already working together to plan out the colors for next year, I can't wait to tell you about all the wonderful schemes we are brewing up.  First though, share your caramel latte progress with us all using the linky tool below

  4. I love latte's. It's hard to pick a favorite rainbow color, because it takes all of them to make a rainbow quilt, but probably my favorite is blue.

  11. It is difficult to pick a favorite color. THat is why we love this monthly challenge, because we love all colors. But I do find my eye is drawn to the medium and light blues. That must be a favorite. I should say green as that bin is still stuffed to the brim.

  13. Already have my RSC project picked out for 2016, so happy to hear you will be doing it again! My favorite color this year has got to be this month--lime green, a new color in my scrap basket since doing Bonnie Hunter's Easy Street. Thanks again for the inspiration and push to get those scraps out of here and into a quilt.

  16. I'll be working with brown some in November as I need to finish my Nifty Thrifty quilt, but I look forward to playing with my bright green scraps, too. I love playing with all my colorful scraps, but I think I enjoyed playing with my blue fabrics most this year.

  19. I finished my starry quilt top! (That's the one that began with the hand dyes from June.) I'm very happy with it.

I have a hard time choosing one favorite color for the year. Maybe yellow? Orange? Lime green is a favorite too. :-)

  20. My favorite color is medium blue, but you've pushed me to play with other colors--so much fun! However, I don't have lots of lime---need to dig further in my stash. Thanks for all the fun this year.

  21. Oh! Where to begin? Favourite colour this year - I'd have to say the indigo. It's a colour that is rarely used and was so much fun to put into the quilt. It made such a beautiful transition to the purple and brown blocks.

  22. Every month as I have chosen the fabrics and sewn them up, I have thought "I LoVe this colour". LOL. On balance I think I would have to say yellow. But then there's purple, and red, and orange, and lime.......

  23. This is the first year I participate in the RSC and I had fun ... well, I still have actually lol. Hard to believe it is the last colour of the year! I plan to participate again next year and I have a few blocks lined up as potential candidates. My favorite colour of the month was : ♪Orange♫♪ (of course). So on with lime green (I have plenty of that one) I will sew. Yeah! ;^)

  29. Choosing a favorite color is just too hard. Part of the fun of making rainbow quilts is using all the colors! If I had to decide based of how much is in my stash, it would probably be green or teal.

  35. I totally failed at brown this month. I had such a lofty goal, but a bad back and a big to-do list put that on the "back" burner!
But I love lime green and have a ton of scraps, so will hopefully make lots of progress this month.
I love all the colours but seemed to really enjoy the red scraps this year.
