Handwork on the Sidelines

It is early morning in Apopka and I am sitting on the sidelines getting ready to stitch a few orange peels during warm ups for Sydney's LAX tournament.  Yesterday was the Super Bowl for Ryan's flag football game, so it has been a sports filled weekend.

  1. Hope all this sport gives you plenty of stitching time.

  2. I was never able to stitch on the sidelines and I spent many an hour watching my two children play soccer and run track. Oh the projects that I could have completed. Enjoy your sports and stitching.

  4. I could only stitch on the sidelines when it was drizzling and we were forced to watch from the car and couldn't see very well. I'm a terribly sidelines person . . . I can't sit still!! Hope you enjoy some good stitching time!! :)

  7. I've spent many a similar day the same way! Cheering them on and waving needle and thread (or knitting) from the sidelines!

  8. Sounds like a great way to keep your hands busy as you cheer them on!

  9. I used to get so much handwork done when my daughter played soccer! She liked me to work on it because I did not yell as much and embarrass her. :0)
