Just one more brown Saturday after today! I hope that is enough time for everyone to make a dent in the brown scraps. For the most part brown is not nearly as overwhelming as blue in shear volume of material. I did manage to finish off enough churn dash blocks last weekend, though not much else was sewn. I was thinking that this weekend was going to be a good opportunity to sew, but it is starting to fill up with sleepovers, lacrosse, robotics and power lifting. Life is pretty full right now, but is all good and happy. Hope you are finding some time to sew. Misterlinky is below for all your brown progress.
You're right; brown is not nearly so overwhelming. I did, however, choose a much bigger project for my browns, so I still have a long way to go! That's okay, there's always time.
ReplyDeleteI finished my Patience block row for the RSC2016 already and against all odds! Great row! Enjoy your family activities!
ReplyDeleteThe Churn Dash blocks look great. It's good that the kids have such a great variety of activities, but it certainly can get tiring for mom and dad. Since DT tore her ACL, sports have been dropped from our schedule and it seems to be a bit calmer. Of course she can drive now, so she can usually get herself where she needs to go.
ReplyDeleteAt least you have an interesting mix of things going on in your house! Your Churn Dash blocks look great, even if your sewing time has been curtailed.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look so warm and toasty - love 'em!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great group of blocks!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see all those tiny parts come together!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a brown fan but your blocks look rather attractive :)
