These are my blocks for August. They got a little wrinkled waiting to get sewn together into a row. I should be able to get that done today. Believe it or not, it is fairly calm. We have a tax holiday for back to school shopping, the girls definitely want to take advantage of that.

I had little purple and after our month of purples, I have less than little. lol So I have 3 more colors to hit before I start thinking about turning these parts into quilt tops. So, I am using light green this month. I have yellow and red left to do, but thought you might be pulling those colors in upcoming months.

ReplyDeleteI usually take the grandkids shopping for school clothes. It's tax free weekend here too but I'd rather pay taxes and avoid the crowds so will take a day off during the week just to take them shopping. (I not only hate crowds...I hate shopping too!)

ReplyDeleteDidn't have any grey and the green I had was too lime. Had a nightgown I never wore that was exactly the shade I wanted so that is what I used. Continuing the challenge to use only stash and no new purchases!
