Sharing two links this time - one for the long term Stroop Effect Project (2-posts, one linked inside the other) and a second for the Liberated Wedding Ring.
Hurray! This is clearly the perfect month to wrap up my scrappy orange and brown Odd Fellows quilt! Thanks again for all the work you put into organizing and hosting.
Really beautiful colours. I've had a crazy time the last months, and have totally fallen out of sewing routines. Hope to be back on track soon, and to do some blocks in these colours.
I thought that orange was all ready used in this, so I did yellow/gold/splash of orange. I LOVE my "top". This is the 1st time I've done the challenge, even though I have followed it for a few years. Don't know how to post a picture :-( I used the "Twinkler Star" for the whole 10 months---8 blocks of each color finishing at 9" makes for a big quilt, at least a big quilt for me. Thank you for showing me how to use "a" color and make it scrappy.
Perfect colors for October. Thank you so much for hosting this challenge. It's one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteYay! Sunshine! ;^)
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining here for three days so it will be nice to work on some yellow blocks this weekend. :)

ReplyDeletefun colors! I might treat them as TWO colors and do double this month and then make up my own 12th color later...
ReplyDeleteI uploaded a scrappy snowball and nine patch quilt I finished the top for.
ReplyDeleteI also uploaded a flying geese quilt where I finished a scrappy version AND a planned version for quiltmaker magazine!

ReplyDeleteHurray for orange and yellow!
ReplyDeleteI love theses bright colours. Makes you feel happy.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen along this year but I have enjoyed following everyone's work.
And then I added a third link for the project I've made using Cherie of The Quilted Jonquil's RSC scraps.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great color! And your sunshine photo is gorogeus!
