Tomorrow starts a new year. It is amazing to me how quickly time continues to zoom by. This year will be back to basics at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. To start the year off right, we will welcome in January with PURPLE. It should be a nice easy glide into the new year. Hopefully that will allow everyone to finish up the last odds and ends of last year. If you are anything like me, you might just have a few carryover projects to keep you sewing for a while.
So share your new projects with us if you have them ready to roll, or your old projects that are either done or not quite yet.

Happy New Year Angela. Thank you for hosting the RSC for another year. It's my favorite challenge every year.
ReplyDeleteYour RSC has ben responsible for my finishing a bunch of UFOs this year. So THANKS! My first thought on purple was "Oh, gag," I'm sick of purple from Bonnie's mystery. Then I though "Yay!" I can get rid of all those purple scraps still on my cutting table!!! So Thanks again.
ReplyDeletePurple - what a grand way to start the new year! Still pondering ideas . . .
ReplyDeleteI linked up two quilts I finished this week for RSC16
ReplyDeletePurple it is! Here's to a scrap-filled 2017!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting again this year! It has been so much fun playing with scraps and coming up with some beautiful quilts.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
Thanks for a color directive for January. That alone will be helpful to me! Happy New Year, with lots of sewing and family time. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting and I can't wait to participate again in 2017! I think I have decided on my project and I will have to start sifting through my purple scraps.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your interesting posts throughout the last year - Wishing you a Happy & productive New Year 2017 :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Angela! Thank you for hosting the challenge. I enjoy using my scraps in your colours; you help keep me on track!

ReplyDeleteI am determined to finish up my stars begun last year with RSC and my houses! So pleased that we begin with purple.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll give this a try this year--will string blocks work?
ReplyDeletePurple is my favorite color and as Libby in TN said, the purple scraps are still on the table from En Provence. Looking forward to anew year of RSC. Thanks for hosting again this coming year despite your busy schedule.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year Angela. Thank you for again hosting RSC. Even though I didn't share much I really enjoyed following along each month. My friend and I made 12 dresden plates and this year we are making 4 patch blocks to go with them. Thanks again xx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting this challenge, in spite of how challenging your life is right now. I am so sorry for the loss of your mother-in-law. I hope the new year brings peace to your family.
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Sylvia Adair at Treadlestitches
