I'm scheduling this post ahead of time. Just in case. Irma is currently headed this way, and though she shouldn't be here until tomorrow, she is pretty big, so it is best to plan ahead.
I spent some time earlier this week getting my orange scraps organized. Here are the biggish sized pieces.
I cut a nice stack of 2.5 inch squares for the leader and ender basket.
There were a few strings to add to the mix as well.
As long as the power holds out, I'll be working on more machine sewing. I've got plenty of handwork set aside too, for when the power goes out. Hopefully you are all staying safe and busy as well, let me know how your orange blocks are coming, misterlinky is below.

I hope that Irma loses some of HER power and lessens....
ReplyDeleteStay safe Angela. I've not seen the weather yet this morning. Hoping Florida catches a break and this storm does something weird (as many do) and either weakens or changes course out to sea.
ReplyDeleteJealous of your organized scraps :)
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and sending good vibes and prayers your way. ;^)
ReplyDeleteHoping for the best for you and all in the hurricane's path! Thanks for the orange inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThoughts and prayers are with you this week. I'm worried about some of my family who live in Naples, including 87 year old dad.
ReplyDeletePraying for you and everyone in Irma's path.
ReplyDeleteStay safe! You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteYour oranges are so pretty. I hope you, your family, and your belongings are all safe during the storm.
ReplyDeleteHoping Irma runs out of power before you do. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bright oranges, smart to have that 'no power' work ready. Sending best wishes and good thoughts to you and everyone in Irma's path. Praying for the best.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes and stay safe, Angela! I hope Irma will have broken up a little by the time she gets to you. Take care!
ReplyDeleteI don't participate in the rainbow challenge but sure love looking at the work everyone else puts into it. Really loving the orange!
