Winding Down

It is hard to believe that December has already arrived.  It is officially time to start finishing up.  If you can't finish it up this year, then feel free to carry it in to next year.  Hopefully though, crossing things off the list will make room for new projects in the new year.

  1. Have a great December, Angela! I hope you have some time for stitching amid all the busy holiday preparation and events!

  2. I'm carrying my projects over into the new year. That's OK, though. I finished one of last year's RSC project earlier this year. 2017's projects are more involved than I have time to spare for them. Thank you for continuing to offer the Rainbow Scrap Challenge as a way for us to work through our accumulated fabric bits. LOVE it!!!!!

  3. I've got two projects that'll carry over to next year and one ready to be quilted. So I'll try to get the quilting done on that one at least this month 😀 can't wait to see everyone's stunning quilts. Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. I'm hoping to finish out the blocks for this year's project by the end of the month, but it will probably be next year before the whole quilt gets done. At least I've finished one of my older RSC projects this year and have made really good progress on several others. I'm hoping next year is the year of Rainbow finishes. Hope you can keep your head above water as the school year winds down for the holidays. We used to have semester tests just before the holidays.

  6. I've been a quiet follower of RSC for a couple of years now... I think 2018 is the year for me to actually participate! I can use the Christmas period to think & plan, & be ready to scrap-bust in the new year!!

  7. I deliberately made mine a small project so it would be done this year. This is my first year participating. Thank you, and I will be back next year.

  8. Angela, thank you so much for all of the time and energy you invest in the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I may not have participated very regularly but I certainly have enjoyed watching participants and the progress that they have made in using up their scraps. I am looking forward to RSC 2018. :)

  9. I posted the scrappy Log Cabin I worked on this year. I have it almost completed hand quilted. Then to begin to hand quilt the Bear Paw that I started in January for RSC 2017. I love the process of waiting until the beginning of the month to "unwrap" the gift of the color reveal. I have my project block pattern picked out for RSC 2018. Thank you for all your work on putting together this activity!
