Work Week Update

I found some time last night to finish off the blue blocks!  Monday was a school holiday.  Nobody was quite sure why.  A Google search turned up Confederate Memorial day, but that can't be why there was no school.   In any case, I enjoyed the opportunity to clean up a lot of crumbs and moved my sewing supplies out of Ryan's room and back into Anna's room again.   Ryan is done with his last exam on Friday and we will pick him up for the summer on Sunday.   Anna will be away at summer camp again this year, so her room will be available for sewing space once again.
Have you  been able to look out at night and enjoy the pink moon?
The moon isn't quite as beautiful as the sunrise in my opinion, but any chance to go out and breath fresh air is good.   Kurt was out of town for an entire week on business!  He hasn't been anywhere in well over a year, so he actually enjoyed traveling again.  We have a vacation scheduled for June and that will be a whole new world!

  4. Pretty blues - you are lucky to have such pretty sunrises every day. Is Anna headed back to Maine for summer camp? Nice that you will 'keep' a sewing area this summer. I wonder what color May will bring.....

  11. Your blue blocks are all so wonderful. There are a couple there I’d like to try! It’s nice that you’ll have a sewing room this summer, and I’m sure that Anna will enjoy camp again. But every mom knows there will be a little hurting spot in your heart from missing her! ((Hugs)).

  13. Great blues, Angela! I know you'll miss Anne but at least you still have some sewing space. I did enjoy the pink moon although it was quite hazy here. I totally agree -- sunrise is the BEST!
