I can not say that I am sad to see the end of 2021. I celebrated a socially distanced Christmas morning today fully masked, sitting on the balcony outside of our family room. Now I am facetiming with the family to play a group video game with me back in my quarantine corner and everyone else (still Covid negative) down at the kitchen table together. Feeling pretty good though, after a few days of cold like symptoms and so grateful for knowing how much worse this could have all turned out.
I'll be back soon with a year end update. I did get quite a few flimsies finished this year if not completed quilts. I enjoy going back to review as I dream of quilts for the new year.
Very creative ways to stay part of the group! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that your symptoms have been fairly mild. Hoping for a negative test result soon!
ReplyDeleteI know you were vaxed and so sorry you still got sick.
ReplyDeleteI’m so sorry you ended up sick, but I’m grateful it seems to be a mild case. I hope you still have plenty of relaxation and recuperation before school starts again!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better and have figured out ways to celebrate Christmas anyway! Thanks for a great year of scrappy link-ups. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

ReplyDeleteOh no! I'm so sorry you needed to do a distanced Christmas this year. I hope you feel better quickly and they are delivering you some yummy food to nibble on. Hope everyone else continues to be negative. Sending healing your way. Thank you for hosting another great year of the RSC.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that you had to miss so much, but glad that you found a way to participate. Also glad no one else is sick! Hope you are better soon and getting lots of rest and at least a bit of relaxation.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that you have to quarantine. Oh man. Glad you still got to see your family and worked out a way to be together. You are so fortunate to have a balcony outside of the family room. I bet you had the best view.
ReplyDeleteI’m glad your doing well! Zoom calls are great. We started doing them this past year so we could all feel a little closer together. Merry Christmas! Hugs,
ReplyDeleteI somehow missed your last post, so didn't know you were in quarantine. Hope you're better soon and that no one else gets sick.

I just wanted to thank you so much for offering this Rainbow Scrap Challenge each month. I'm not a blogger, but I've been participating in this challenge for the last two years and I look forward to checking out your blog each week, along with the blogs of the other quilters. It's always a pleasure to see all the beautiful quilts that are being made. Best wishes for a good 2022 for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are sick! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI'm way behind in blog reading, so I'm just now finding out that you've been sick. Sorry about all of that. I'm praying that this Covid stuff is over soon. I got behind with my RSC blocks in the Spring. There's just been too much other stuff going on in my life to keep up on anything that wasn't totally necessary. Hope you test negative really soon. Praying for a MUCH better 2022 than the last 2 years.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to participating in RSC for the first time in this coming year. Thanks for hosting it!
