The red wall is getting full! I worked on the Monday holiday making more tiny little log cabin blocks.
The 16 patch blocks rotated to the second wall and more alternate blocks are appearing. I didn't have as many multicolor blocks as I thought, most of them are monochromatic. I'm not sure if I want to separate the two or try to work them in strategically to the same quilt.
4 Weeks in and I have made a nice dent in my red scrap bin. How are your red project developing? Misterlinky is below, please share your progress.
You have such fun blocks up on your red wall. You've definitely made quite a dent in the scrap bin (though I think scraps multiply when we are looking as it seems my bins will never be empty).
ReplyDeleteYou've been having lots of fun with your red scraps this month! So many appealing blocks. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteApparently, you've been sewing for the both of us, Angela! I have done no RED sewing up to this point in the month. Hoping to get going on it soon!
ReplyDeleteThe design wall is looking good. Nice job on finding time to play with those red scraps!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous scrappy red wall! I love the tiny log cabins.
ReplyDeleteWow, look at your lovely red wall of blocks! So many goodies here! My red scraps were pulled *last* year so it's great that they are right on time to be used as I get started for this year!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! You have a full design wall. Beautiful red blocks on it, Angela.
ReplyDeleteAnd those 16 patch blocks are a great scraps buster.
Happy weekend. Hope Sydney is getting better.

Great array of blocks!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the challenge!
ReplyDeleteHi Angela, I've been trying to upload my blog post but it won't link up for some reason. It's been a long while since I've tried to link up but it doesn't look like anything has changed. Wondering if I've missed something.

Hi Angela, I just figured out my mistake. I just needed to refresh your blog to see that my post was uploaded. I have to get back into this so I remember how these things work.
