Last day of February. Last day for green. Next Month will be red. I was able to do a bit of crumb sewing last weekend. Considering all that is going in right now, that seems like a big accomplishment. Still waiting to know if I have a job for next year. I've been trying to think of other things, but there have been evening events for school three nights this week so I am mostly drained right now. I am going to a quilt show with a friend today. I am excited about that. Join a quilt guild is on my retirement bucket list. How are your green scraps coming along? I know that it has been a short month, but there were still 4 Saturdays, so I hope that you were able to make a dent. Remember that we will have a pastel month later, so you can work with some more of the lighter shades then if you still have some. Misterlinky is below. Please share your February roundup as we get ready to roll out the reds.
Have fun at the quilt show today! And also, thank you so much for hosting the RSC every year. It means a lot to so many of us! Take care.
ReplyDeleteLove your wall of green in the photo there! Hope you have a great time at the quilt show today. Hooray for the weekend!
ReplyDeleteRelax and enjoy the quilt show. You've earned it.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed you get some certainty about next year soon. Being in limbo is never easy. My Guy got laid off earlier this month, he's decided on a path forward, but it will take a while to see if it works out. I can highly recommend joining a guild when you retire, it does get you out and about. I'm not sure I recommend taking on the Guild BOM less than an year into it, but it's nice to have a new challenge as I hadn't written patterns before. Enjoy the quilt show.
ReplyDeleteRed for March? Hmm... I wonder if I have a RED scrappy UFO? I'm thinking I may have to start another donation quilt. We'll see...
