All's Well

The fire is out, no houses were harmed, I think one fire fighter twisted an ankle, but other than that everyone is safe and sound.  I went by on my jog this morning to see what the damage was, but it wasn't visible from the road on this side.  I have absolutely nothing that I have to do today.  I can't remember the last time that happened.  I think I'll sew some and read some and maybe even get my toes done.

  9. Glad you are safe and the fire is out. Enjoy your vacation!..... I'm wondering what color April will bring? Sunny yellow maybe? Purple for the lilacs that will be out soon? Hmmmmm a few days more before we find out.

  10. Glad you weren't impacted and that all is well. :o)

Weird, I was out my lanai reading a book on my nook when I started smelling smoke. I thought there was another controlled brush fire going on, until I heard it on the news. Wonder where in FL you are? Could we be "neighbors"? That would be too funny...

  11. So glad the danger passed you by, although it looks like a close call by the photo. Thank goodness for firefighters and rain.
