Flamingo Bay is officially a flimsy. I tried standing on a table to get a good photo, but after 32 tries, I gave up and went wonky. As much as I fought with the pieced border, it is quite nice and fit perfectly. I have backing fabric picked out, but first there is a quilt on the frame that needs to be loaded. I'll do a batting inventory too and figure out if I need to do any shopping today. I have a coupon!
Oh yeah! Still one of my favorite designs by Bonnie! Every one I see is more beautiful than the last! Congratulations on the finish... one finish closer to Hawaiian Sunset :*)

Stunning! I would guess you should be patting yourself on the back!
ReplyDeleteThat looks wonderful. No wonder Lizzie wanted to use it to nap on. It looks like a labor of love -- all those tiny pieces. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the pieced border.
ReplyDeleteThat looks fabulous, Angela.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think with four other people in your house, some one (or two) could have held it up for you to photograph! ;-)
Or you could have pegged it to the clothesline (maybe you don't have such things in Florida -- they are very common in Australia; using a drying machine is very unusual here!)
