Just when I am trying hard to not start something new, a brand new quilt along comes along to tempt me. This one is a quilt block of the week called Grandmother's Choice. It comes along with interesting facts and histories related to women's suffrage. There will be 49 8 inch blocks, one each week for about a year.
So how do I quilt along with a fun new blog and still manage not to start something new? Here is my Midget version of Grandmother's Choice! It will fit right in with my ongoing blocks, will not count as a new project, and will still allow me to join in. No worries about keeping up or finishing, each block will just join right in with my collection.

Ahhhh! Smart girl :*) They are even cuter when they are so small.
ReplyDeleteSo creative! I debated getting in on this one too...now I will just watch yours come along, lol!
ReplyDeleteLove the block. What a great way to not start something new!
ReplyDeleteLOL, I posted about that quiltalong on my blog, and I was going to call you out when I did it. I knew you loved those tiny little blocks. Glad I could help you not start anything new. LOL.
ReplyDeleteHow clever!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, I love the blue and yellow, very summery and fresh.

ReplyDeleteLove the logic.... maybe if I do a midget sized one in blue and cream......
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! I didn't need another project, but I fell for the "Grandmother's Choice block of the week", too. One 8" block a week seems easy enough, doable, I think :|
ReplyDeleteBy the way, Your midget version is so cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great solution - if somewhat devious! ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou started that to ha. I hope to get time to do that today.
ReplyDeleteA great idea!
