ScrapHappy Saturday -- Blue Edition

Last weekend I managed made 24 blue crumb blocks.  If I can make the same amount today I will have enough for a quilt.  I had a stack of blocks already started from last year, so it wasn't hard to finish make them a little bigger and then trim them up to size.  My bin seems to be more full than when I started, but I added in all my precut blue strips to have enough long pieces to get the blocks big enough.
I hope you all have lots of blue scraps used up so far.  Use the linky below to share your blue creations.

  1. Good Morning! I've linked up early today, as I'm off to a sew-in with the quilt guild. Can't wait to check back later.

  2. A rainy Saturday morning here--definitely full of "blue-ness"; I finished 4 pieces of "made" fabric and am now pondering what to make out of them...they kind of remind me of the sea....hmmmmm Julierose

  3. If we were neighbours I would swap your scraps for my home made cakes :-)

No block-making for me today, I must make a label for my lozenge quilt, the first one I ever machine quilted. Then it's binding (which is purple) but I really like that step, when all the scruffy edges and threads disappear and the quilt is all neatly finished.
