I went a little crazy with pink postage stamp blocks. I am actually thinking about breaking some of the giant blocks down into 36 patches. First though, there are two deadline quilts that need work. Probably not today though. Regionals for Lego Robotics AND Science Fair are both today. We got lucky though, they are both very near each other, so there will be quite a bit of driving back and forth in my day.
How about your day? Hopefully it will be full of pretty pink fabrics? Maybe while enjoying some of the olympic games? Use the linky tool below to share your progress so far.

ReplyDeleteI have been cutting and sewing 2 1/2" blocks though.
Have a good day/ night everyone.
Lots of pretty pinks in your postage stamp blocks.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to your kiddos and your students at Science Fair today and to your son at the Lego competition. My last weekend was a lot like that, except I had to deal with the swim meet stuff rather than Legos.
I really enjoy the vibrant colors of your postage stamp blocks.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure how many pinks I'd find after making the tumbler quilt - but I found LOTS more to play with. Yeah!! So much fun to see how others are working.
ReplyDeleteHopefully I can link up later tonight after work. I need to play a bit more and finish sewing the RSC Sampler blocks. Have fun running the kids around today. Hopefully you can pull out some hand work here and there.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pink blocks and it sounds like you have a busy day! Thanks for another fun month!

ReplyDeleteI am still stitching blue blocks right now, but I have them to go with the pinks one from last year.
ReplyDeleteI got a post made before the end of the day. I have a few new things planned for this year and lots for finishing. Love all the pink nine patches. I am thinking I need to do some before the end of the month.

ReplyDeleteI'm reading/joining a day late so see you've already been to the finals. Both did very good to compete, well done to them both you must be so proud of them.
Okay, this is definitely a block that I'm not going to rush out to try! LOL Your block looks really bright and cheerful - but I'll stick to my Japanese x and + blocks!
