Today is the first official day of winter break! I'm going to keep quilting some more on the Rainbow Scrap Challenge Sampler from 2014.
Then, if I feel like sitting for a bit, I've got three quilt tops pinned or bagged and ready to sew. End of the year organizing of fabric will round out the list for a full day of quality quilting time.
I hope you are finding a little time among all the holiday festivities to think about ending and begining anew. The linky is available below for all who wish to join and share news of their rainbow scrappiness.
Such very modern quilting! Nice to express yourself with quilting, isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day . . . I hope to fondle some fabric today, too.
ReplyDeleteI love the quilting design for this quilt. Your lines are so straight...are you using a ruler or just free handing it?
ReplyDeleteMy plans for next year are being made and I want to do a lot more piecing using my scraps and strings. I also plan to do a lot more practice with quilting on the long arm.
I hope you enjoy your break from the real world and immerse yourself in your quilting. I should really plan to jump in during 2016 to bust my scraps...or at least some of them. Enjoy your time off.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't figure out how to link at first but see my link made it - I am enjoying working with my scraps and intend to make many more quilts with them.
ReplyDeleteI too am busy sorting fabrics in their baskets and yes, thinking about what needs finishing next year and new projects! I'm looking forward to RSC2016 , thanks for all your work with this and hope your enjoy yours bread and very Happy Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHope you got lots of stitching done today. I was off doing family stuff, but I hope to get back to the sewing room tonight.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your holiday break. I plan to luxuriate in a week of NO MEETINGS! and I hope to get some productive time in the studio.
