It seems really scary when the hurricane forecast puts a dot right on top of your house, but all the models are moving to the east and I am feeling optimistic. It is entirely possible that we will avoid a direct hit.
Our hotel reservations start tonight, and we'll be back when the storm has passed. Until then, enjoy the end of blue and the beginning of purple.
It waz a somewhat happy surprise to see the updated storm track this morning. Hopefully the 8 am update will be even better.
ReplyDeleteyou are in my thoughts and prayers!! Be safe!!
ReplyDeleteWe'll all be watching the storm tracking today, too! Hoping for that revised prediction!
ReplyDeletewhat city do you live closest too? I will be watching the map too and hope your place escapes damage- my granddaughter and son in law have been vacationing in Disney and are flying home today on schedule
ReplyDeleteLet's hope Dorian misses you.
ReplyDeleteWe will all be thinking of you and your family in the next few days. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteOh my! at least you are in a safe place until it passes. I hope that thing keeps going eastward.
ReplyDeleteTake care and let's pray that it goes back in the Ocean, but I do not think it will happen. I have a slight feeling that it may get into the Gulf and head our way! It has been so hot (over 100) for the last month and the water is very very warm!
ReplyDeleteStay safe!
