11 and a half weeks of quarantine houses so far. I am not at all sure when to end this quilt as the end is so much more ambiguous than the beginning. My summer is already scheduled with virtual versions of the work I had planned. I'm waiting on the launch right now and the weather is iffy. Trump just landed, but the thunder rolls on.
I'm guessing it depends on how big you want this quilt to be! You could easily be adding another 80-90 days until school 'restarts'.... in whatever form that will be.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you get a Saturday afternoon (or fall back Sunday) launch. Very jealous of your viewing area this weekend.
I was disappointed to see the weather didn’t allow for the launch to happen today. Hopefully Saturday will be good. Your quarantine quilt is looking really good. Will you keep making blocks until life returns to normal? Or at least whatever “new” normal is.
ReplyDeletewe had the space stuff on - disappointed it couldn't take off. Love your houses - my RSC19 is in the washing machine - binding done!
ReplyDeleteYour houses are so great! They look like a village on a hill. I'm now wishing I had joined in!
ReplyDeleteHow naive I was at the outset in hoping that you would end up with only a table runner!
ReplyDeleteOh dear... we thought/hoped it would be a small wallhanging, and now it looks like it will become a bed sized quarantine house quilt :(
ReplyDeleteMaybe each column could be a season? That's the spring quarantine neighbourhood, and in June you can start the summer neightbourhood?!?
I am doing the qm bitty block houses in the same way. Sorry the launch did not happen.
ReplyDeleteYour houses are looking so pretty all together, youcanmake a huge quilt :)
