I plan to try to put at least my top together today! Wow, and I thought I was overworked and underpaid, and insanely busy this last week, hope next week is better for you!
Although I ended up making more red scraps after buying red material, I really enjoyed working with reds and whites. Can't wait to see what color is for March. Thanks for doing this. My wall hanging became a giveaway with a twist. Hugs
I have layered the red strippy quilt for quilting this weekend. I also finished a string block quilt with a lot of red and it is layered and posted on my blog. This has been a great motivator. Hope you are managing well.
I did get the top sewn together, just have the border to finish in the next couple days. I sure had fun with my red scraps and can't wait until we find out what color is next!
How exciting to live close enough to hear the Shuttle. My dad worked at NASA, and we've seen and heard a few blast-offs ourselves. Hope your second week at the new school goes more peacefully. It sounds like you handled your first conference well. Just added a link. Thanks for helping me organize and shrink my stash.
My RED challenge is posted. I also am using my red scraps for a table runner for my son's fiancee. March will be very busy with sewing dresses and wedding stuff but I will get something done.
I hope to get playing with my red scrappy quilt later today. I want to get the quilt ready to layer and quilt

My goodness are you busy right now! It always seems to take a while to get into a new routine but it sounds like you will do fine, good luck.
ReplyDeleteI posted a twister centerpiece with some red in it, fun to make.

ReplyDeleteI'll post a photo of my RED mug rug on my blog. This is fun, and a bit challenging to think of something different each month!
